Hawo Suomi Oy’s customer and marketing register.

Purpose of personal data use

Data is collected, processed and used for the following purposes: managing Hawo Suomi Oy’s customer relationships, communication and marketing, as well as monitoring and analysing customer data for the purpose of targeting communications and for general marketing purposes and other purposes related to improving services.

Data content of the register

Hawo Suomi Oy collects and processes data from customers related to the register. The following data are registered:

– Contact information (name, email address, telephone number, location)

– Information related to requests for quotes (interests, time of construction, purpose of use)

– Other information related to customer relationship management.

Regular sources of information

Data is collected primarily from the data subjects through the following channels: electronic contact forms and forms to request a quote, the online quotation tool at varaa.hetivalmis.fi, email, SMS, instant messaging, our social media channels, meetings or telephone conversations. Data is also obtained from sector-specific marketing registers.

Data recipients

Personal data may be disclosed to Hawo Suomi Oy’s suppliers, forwarders and subcontractors concerning the sale, manufacture and delivery of products. With consent from the customer, personal data may be disclosed to companies in Finland that belong to the same group of companies as Hawo Suomi Oy.

Transfer of data outside the EU or EEA

Personal data is not transferred to operators outside the EU or EEA.

Principles for register protection

The register is maintained with due care in an appropriately protected electronic database. The register is used confidentially only by people in sales and administration whose duties include its use.

Data storage period

We store users’ personal data only for as long as it is necessary for the purpose for which the data was collected, or for the maximum period allowed by the law. This means that the duration of the storage period for personal data varies depending on the data. Accounting data is stored for a maximum of six (6) years in accordance with the Accounting Act.

General rights of the data subject

In accordance with the Personal Data Act, users have the right to check what information about them has been stored in the register. The review request must be submitted in writing to the person responsible for matters related to the register.

Other rights of the data subject

In accordance with the Personal Data Act, users have the right to prohibit the use of their data for sales and marketing purposes. The prohibition must be submitted in writing to the person responsible for matters related to the register. In accordance with the personal data laws, data subjects also have the right to rectify any incorrect, changed or incomplete information.

 

If you have submitted comments, you can request a summary file of all the personal data you have provided to us. You can also request that your personal data be erased. This right of erasure does not apply to personal data that we must store for reasons related to maintenance, legal requirements or information security.
